A voice so soft it hums in my ears,
With lips so pale you mark beauty,
And eyes so green they catch me.
A promise unheard,
With kisses of sanity,
And confusion in the midst.
A hurricane of lies erupts,
With knives of teeth they tear,
And corner my innocence.
A voice so coarse it makes me cringe,
With lips so chapped you rip me open,
And eyes so cold they've trapped me.

The way you write is a bit blunt, but I really enjoy the colored wordplay-Inanimate objects are great for describing things, sometimes.
(Those were notes to self)
