The snow fell with no sound as life around me began to freeze-
almost like time stopped in front of me. I touched the snow,
as soft as cotton, but instantly melted in my palm. As I walked I listened
to the crunch of the snow and ice crystals.
Days go by with the cold changing. Soon the cottony snow turned
into sheets of glass. Soon the crunch into cracks and snaps.
Snow swiftly turned into rain and, and soon the formed into jagged
ice upon the ground.
The days of ice turned into weeks. Cars drove with caution. Icicles
formed on roofs and signs. Ice piled on sidewalks and cars. Ice
broke windows, broke bones, broke live, making minds shatter
under the mighty force of the Mother.
I walked on the ice and fell. i cut my leg and saw the blood blend
with the snow. The ice felt like a nicked edge. The next day all had
melted away. Faded. Left us with no warning, as peace reigns over,
all we can do is wonder.

- The descriptiveness in this poem is quite amazing, as if being lost with full understanding of where you are, if that makes any sense... A contradiction I know, but that's how I see it. I love this, bravo..
