I feel as if I don't belong
To this busy beehive in the sky
Because my dreams reach higher
Than the tallest fire
And scrape the stars right out of the deep blue sky
I just keep tripping over
All these four-leaf clovers
Growing in the snow
With an artifical glow
And I shower in the stars
And roller skate on Mars
To rocket-boost my way
To an unnamed bay
On my way back home
I don't belong
To these cold stone walls
So I'll build up my resolve
And blast apart these halls
Blowing leaves in the Fall
I wish I had the gall
To let someone in
I lock my heart in a tin
Of self-loathing
I'm floating off the ground
Away from all the sound
But I can't reach the sky
I guess I'll just wave goodbye
To all I ever knew
I'll throw it all behind
I'll travel the whole world
To find somewhere that's kind
