A gentle coverlet of white
Snowflakes slowly drifting in the wind
All attempts of getting warm turned away in spite.
Glowing embers in the distance signal hope.
Though your fingers are bitten with frostbite,
You try, and you try not to reach the end of your rope.
You know you are lost and don't know what you will pass
Walking and wandering crossing frozen rivers
Until the ice underneath you cracks like flimsy glass
Down you plummet to your doom
Suffocating your lungs with ice cold water
And your pounding heart makes your eardrums boom
All your oxygen gone you try breathe with all your might
When only ice water fills your body
You know your hope is gone one winter's night.
Congelo tandem spe profectus
Respiratio in capite motum
Torpentes tua pulmo
Desperes, jam agam
Tandem in liberatione vestra manu Dei
Now your life is over, your spirit taking flight
Over mountains, across oceans
All because you lost your way on that godforsaken night
Misty skies clear to blue
The Aurora Boriealis lighting the sky
It's color always changing hue
Flying through the skies going to heaven
No longer locked in your tomb of ice
It becomes more clear that you died on that cold winter's night.
Congelo tandem spe profectus
Respiratio in capite mortum
Torpentes tua pulmo
Desperes, jam agam
Tandem in liberatione vestra manu Dei
Petri aperit tibi portas
Superato in caelum
Tu abierunt abiit abiit
In manum domini

Description:
A song i wrote that i am putting into a cd i am making.
the Latin translation
Freeze set out for his confidence
Breathing at the head of the death
Thy languishing in the lung
Despair, I will now deal
Finally, in the hand of God for your deliverance
Peter opens the gates to thee,
Crossing over into the sky
You went away he went away he went away
In the hand of the lord
