Love is red.
It looks like a small bundle of happiness, wrapped in caring, and sports a dusting of pain.
It sounds like church bells ringing and laughter and tears hitting the floor.
It smells like roses and cake that was just taken out of the oven.
It tastes like rich, dark chocolate and red wine of the finest variety.
It feels like arms wrapped around your shoulders, a peck of the lips on your cheek, and your heart sinking until all that is left is an empty hole.
Love is fire.

Description:
Love and fire are both so beautiful, so warm, and if you aren't careful, both will burn.
A poem for my 7th grade ILA class. A few adjustments. I just want to know what you think. I hope all the formatting isn't too much. - Date: 11/24/2010

It's pretty good. At first I thought that the formatting was a little too much, but it's actually nice.
As well, you might want to work on making your "And, And," thing a Tri-colon. That is, use three Conjunctions. A Tricolon is a relatively well known form of multiple conjunction, and usually flows better. biggrin
