The Brown Door
by midnyt_blossom
Shivering,
All dark,
I stared;
Alert.
Waiting,
Anticipating
For that
Creepy,
Slow,
Jerk.
Goosebumps,
It's chilling,
My body
Ran cold.
My palms,
they're clammy,
but my heart
grew bold.
I balled my fist,
My brows
It creased.
Tensed,
I sat up.
Yes, my mind
Was made up.
My courage,
It swelled,
I grasp it,
Prepared.
I've been
silly
for
far
too
long.
Yes!
I
Know
I
Can
Be
That
Strong.
I've been
Watching
That same
Old view.
Not sleeping,
That is
ALL
I
DO!
It's so
CHILDISH!
I'm scared
Of
An
Old
Brown
Door!
I should
Stop this,
It's just
All pure
Lore.
God Knows
Nothing's
Behind
That door
-WAIT-
-whats that something
CREEPING
On the
Floor?!
-A gnarled something
That
Looks
A
LOT
LIKE
GORE!
gonk AHHHHH! gonk

- Title: The Brown Door
- Artist: midnyt_blossom
- Description: I remember clearly the time i wrote this poem. During my second year in college, i used to stay in this dormitory ran by nuns and i was usually left there all alone in our room during the weekends. Although there was really nothing significantly supernatural that happened during those times, you cant really stop your thoughts from going wild because of fear. This poem was the result of my overactive imagination. Read and comment please! <3
