The snow continues to fall without showing an end,
Like falling stars it continues its descend,
A soft blanket that crunches beneath ones feet,
Falling, hiding, covering all until white and complete.
Buried beneath lies the seeds of new,
That will burst forth once spring is due,
A single yellow flower will be the first to arrive,
Struggling, climbing, growing above the dirt to survive.
Until springs first day has come,
The snow will continue to sparkle in the sun,
The seeds of tomorrow continue to lie in wait,
Whispering, wanting, waiting for their fate.
- Title: Seeds Beneath the Snow
- Artist: XxHakaxX
- Description: A little poem about the little seeds that sleep and await the first days of spring. It was written around the time that we had a lot of snow here in England. It makes me smile, how about you?
