She smiles to hide,
The broken story she holds.
The nights she struggles to get by,
Her tears flow unto me as her story unfolds.
Each day's filled with shame,
Since love ******** her up.
Her heart was played,
And she had no luck.
So let's start from the beginning,
Where things started to go wrong,
Her life began thinning,
When he wouldn't hear her song.
Fallen in love,
With a boy thought as sweet.
She hoped this fairytale would fit like a glove,
Where he'd hold in his body heat.
But his heart was already sold,
To another girl who enjoyed the sound of said things breaking.
So her moves so bold,
To try to move on though her soul is shaking.
She tried to hide her feelings,
And keep them all inside.
She felt her troubles reeling,
And wouldn't let herself cry.
She searched for someone to heal her,
And mend her broken heart.
She just had to be sure,
It was safe from the start.
She found someone there,
Who would hold her tight.
He was someone who actually cared,
And he'd treat her right.
Happily ever after is what she saw,
She thought sadness had moved away.
But here it was like a law,
And this new mended heart would not stay.
The boy came to her,
Wanting to make things right.
But trouble stirred,
And this "promise" only lasted a night.
Hating on the body she lived in,
For throwing away what was good.
She cut across her skin,
Alone is where she stood.
Into a hospital where they would make her "better",
All she wanted was to die.
Her lover stood, wishing he never met her,
And she sat in her room, only able to cry.
Cheated and betrayed by her prince charming,
She told him to ******** himself.
She was trying her hardest to stop self harming,
All she wanted was to put her troubles on a shelf.
She smiles to hide,
The broken story she holds.
The nights she struggles to get by,
Her tears flow unto me as her story unfolds.
