Terrible day turns to terrible week,
To the future allow just one peek,
I'm laying awake in my bed,
In tears I cover my head,
The monsters twirling and swirling,
Not a thing can be said,
Mouth closed tight,
Secured by the staples of fright,
My door slams shut,
Call me a loon call me a nut,
But, What happens now cannot be sane,
Lying face down hair scattered like a mane.

- Grand! Enjoyed every bit. I may be a lousy excuse for a poet, but I'd love to hear your input on my work that I've submitted. It would be most delightful. Favorited.
