Promise Me

• Artist: A Peaceful Eternity
• Description: Recently constructed on June 24th to be exact. So, the story is, My "BEST" friends we're talking about me, I confronted them, they promised they'd stop, and they TOTALLY DID! (<<that's sarcasm if you can't see it XD) So yea.....
  Critism is encouraged, but don't be to harsh please, I was crying when I wrote this, and all the others, so please, tone down the nastiness, 'cause I've obviously had enough of it.

They say they'll stop
They promise!
You really think that'll happen?
Words hurt y'know.
Of course, nothing like that has happened to you!
God forbid you be kind and courteous!
Maybe show some sort of remorse.
They don't like me,
I understand that!
But they don't have to speak it!
Listen carefully to me,
Because you'll need these words one day.
The day you realize you hurt me.
The day you realize you thought you knew everything.
The day your world comes crumbling down.

I like everything except the last three lines. They turn a poem that shows the inhumanity and lack of empathy in the world into something vengeful, hence restarting the cycle of apathy. Rise above. "Only the strong apologize, and only the even stronger forgive." Be the even stronger. smile
