• Songs of my Mind

    A day in the sunny shade..... a smile can grow like vines. If you could see me you'de think i was blushing. My sunburn cheeks were rosey pink and the cold breeze kept them from hurting (Sunburn- Owl City). Snow..... my starry eyes glow as i scamper out the door. I spun on the driveway with angelic grace, 'til i slipped on the side walk and fell on my face. Hot chocolate filled with marshmellows warms me because, the snow flakes start falling and i start to float, 'til my mean older brother stuffed snow down my coat. But my thoughts help me wiggle from the piles of snow that fall from the leafless trees. With dreams like these i can get out of any sticky situation (Peppermint Winter- Owl city). Pencials and paper..... annoying tests. I study hard 'til im blue in the face because if i fail this year it'll be the end of my race. Love..... it spred from card to card as i hide in my hoodie. My thoughts of you keep me in my seat and my head on my desk. Chiles runn down my spine as our fingers intwine and your sides hormonise with mine (If my Heart Was a House- Owl City).

    Smiles..... water sparkles in the air as we laugh together. My suit drips on the ground as a towel hugs me tight. I lose my blance and fall straight in. Fireplaces..... there's a glow in the corner of the room that warms over every thing. I breathe on the window, write in scribled letters, and draw small pictures. Desks and chairs..... i doodle on my paper because i can't pay attion. The teacher calls my name and i stand from my chair, staring blank at the confusing board as i strugle to find out where i am. Love..... i sit in my seat carving a trigle heart into the corner of my desks as i hide my face in seceret; tucking away tears. Right now the room can't see me. It's like im dead. I think :
