With beats a solid bold
But wings of blackened gold,
The heart begins to soar.
Till nothing can open thy door.
The gloomy skies come forth,
Lightning touches the skies.
The heart soars higher and higher,
Trying to just hide.
When the rain begins to pour
And the Thunder shakes the land,
We can then realize
Love can't always have an upper hand.
So when your at the window,
Watching those little kids play
Can you see them smiling?
Though they may have had a pitiful day?
Now the light bulbs burst
And the windows crack,
Wind fights with your hair
While your eyes seem to role back.
With beats of a solid bold
But wings of the blackened gold,
The bird begins to soar
Till the shadows sneak inside.
Creating the Blackness in the Heart
From ever sea and land's shore...
