• I thought you were different,
    again I was wrong.
    Had eyes like no other,

    and turned another corner.
Walked into a patchful of flowers and sunshine.
Was about to turn around when I realized it was a mistake.

When a hand reached on and held on,
a little too tired of being alone and bored.
I held on and walked along,

the sun raining down on me felt like thousands of smiling faces.
After a few days of returning.
    The sun was gone,

    flowers were dead,
covered upon layers and layers of snow.
    Knew it terribly would end,

living a little too much of wanting to be a princess.
Wanting to be alive for once.
    Defied the unwritten policies,

    thought I knew better.
    Smart girls had eyes,
    better than others.

    No different from the last,
I wonder how many more times I will have to stand waiting.
