• I am free from your hold
    when you suffocated me with kindness
    i now break free from my past
    you are nothing more than a memory of chains left behind in the dust
    i fly freely
    able to hate, to love, and to be
    I make my path with the will that was buried deep within
    no longer restrained by your reasoning
    the joy is overwhelming
    as is the pain
    yet woth it in my freedom to feel only my own
    for all of this
    I created, with power that is my own
    soaring amongs the clouds which i embrace freely
    above you whom held me down and captured me
    able to spread my wings
    and look back at the darkness and laugh
    for that was not mine,
    nor do i wish to saty and cling to it
    i will create my own darkess when I so wish
    intead of constantly battling yours
    for now though,
    I am a creature of the light
    and the pain of darkness cannot touch me
