Eclipse and Forever

• Description: This is a poem about twin foals that were born 5/23/2012. Their names were Eclipse and Forever. This poem is dedicated to Eclipse because he was put down 1 hour after his birth. He was unable to stand up on his own. He was put down so he wouldn't suffer anymore. I give all credit to my best friend Annabella who helped me put this poem together.

I am Forever you are Eclipse,
My dear brother how I wish you could stay
You rose like the sun but set like the moon.

We'll play together in the ocean
We'll dance in the stars
We'll sleep in the sun.

Our hearts go on for one last beat
Your blue eyes fade to black
My eyes on your.

My dear brother,
Why was I so cruel
To do something like that to you

Eclipse,
While they take you away
My clueless eyes wonder

Mama cries I wonder
Will I ever see my brother.

We'll be together when I trot across the Rainbow Bridge
That connects Heaven and Earth.
