Nemo : Expressive Imagination

• Description: This poem is inspired from a childhood favorite film, "Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland". This poem represents the beauty of childlike imagination and how wondrous it can be. It was a little bit of a challenge considering this is my first poem done in Etheree poetic style. I tried to be as descriptive, considering the limitations imposed by the style enjoy :)

From among many different stories,

Fabricated and woven from myth.

The most telling tale is derived,

When the musings of a child,

Awake from their slumber.

The dreams afloat scribed,

Depth and intrigue,

Vividly ,

Captured,

Scenes.

The poetry form, Etheree, consists of 10 lines of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 syllables.

Etheree can also be reversed and written 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

Test out this fun, simplistic, but challenging style. Being expressive and highligting a theme under the constraints of the imposed limitation is challenging, yet rewarding.
