• I met a friend today I hadn't seen in a while,
    we reminisced on distant times and shared a couple hundred smiles,
    we spent ages together but isn't age just a digit
    when happiness is found through wisdom and experience

    through all the broken promises and hearts behind the faces
    there's been so many blessings on the course to our destinations
    start out as strangers and come across so many relations
    of how we feel more than what we see in the world that we're faced with

    came from different walks of life and i find it so amazing
    that we're walking side by side without questioning the basis
    of what brought us together or why it even matters
    as we harmonize and sympathize through all the maze's patterns

    time spent alone in silence like reflections in the water
    the tides and the darkness seen as something to be afraid of
    but it's the water that we tread on that brings us to the shores
    of a never ending story with a life time of allures

    as we fall deeper down the rabbit hole we learn we aren't alone
    facing temptations and suggestions and questions of your own
    it's a story book ending we're all searching for
    but mastery of condition comes to all once youve grown
