Watch as she runs through the trees
Ever mindful of the danger behind her
Watch as the cold kisses her skin
She shivers as the winds tease her hair
Moonlight catching in her silver locks
Starlight shimmering in her lavender eyes
Her eyes flutter as the sun rises
A single tear rolls down her cheek
Her time is over as the light hits her
fading into dew as the flowers bloom
as all the faeries of evening say goodnight
The morning dew is their way of saying
they will be back when the moon is high
and the skies are dark
