Do guild announcements actually work when trying to get members's (?) attention? I know they give everyone a special notification by their avatar, I just don't know how effective that is.

Well it seems I am in the crew now. What an honor! As for the announcement, I see what I can do. But like you've said, they probably don't come online here anymore.

Huh, I guess since I hadn't been on Gaia for a while, I had no idea how things have changed. Seems people aren't quite happy with Gaia Online anymore. Also, these constant announcements telling me to spend real money are getting on my nerves.

Yeah, there are A LOT of announcements. Don't get me wrong, some of the items are awesome, and I have spent some monies getting them. I guess I should consider myself fortunate that I am in a position to do so.

well hello there. been looking around for people to talk to. so yeha I totes dig that new jam, womp womp fish eye lens song. I also had it for a year on my computer loading it up saying Welcome to windows 98! WHY ARE YOU STILL USING WINDOWS 98!? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!! STOP BUYING COMPUTERS FROM THRIFT STORES MAN! I accidentally left that on high in class before the class started and everyone turned to me. I blushed and said "sorry, my bad. My computer gets mad at me sometimes."

you and me both! I remember a simpler time of gaia, where there were few NPCs, a person could be 10people, and we only had 4 mods, and you didnt have to pay for gold. if you did, you would get in trouble. there were also announcements when it was a BIG announcement, not just hey buy more stuff from the site that isnt tangible.

Lol! When I had win 98, I had some of the Homestar sounds on it. It was awesome when I put them on it, but the first time I had trouble, and had to keep restarting and listening to Homestar say "Did you wemember to save your files?" every time it got annoying quick.

I have windows 7. the windows 98 was part of the april fools joke. I laughed so hard too. I had that for a while, but I recently backed up all my files and am gonna do it again and save them all on a hard drive. my laptop's harddrive is about 3yrs old so old Lenny is getting there, but nothing we cant fix.

and Gaia is terrible. in my other guilds I'm mostly here to talk to people and RP. thats the only reason I stayed so long. they got rid of ZOMG but they are being stupid by not refunding the other people who came back after a hiatus. they are only refunding the people that played a lot of zomg. I have some things I may have had to pay for and they are soulbound so I cant do anything with them. I dont want them anymore. I dont care that zomg is gone either. I played for a while with my uncle on gaia, but that was it. I got bored of it, and it was not for me. I'm not an mmo type of gal. I like other games that make sense to me.

I played Zomg! when it first came out. I got in at the tail end of the beta. I made it as far as Basskin Lake, past the Zen Garden, but I lost interest. Never played it again.
