I need more blankets than I can move in right now. Its probably 15 degrees at best in the house right now... which is like... *does temperature conversion* 59 fahrenheit. I shiver when its 22 (72)

It's only slightly warmer in here and I'm more than comfortable with far less covering than that. Then again, I have been suffering through the cold weather outside to make myself more comfortable later in the season.

Tsujigiri-san It's only slightly warmer in here and I'm more than comfortable with far less covering than that. Then again, I have been suffering through the cold weather outside to make myself more comfortable later in the season. You're also male. I know a transsexual who now freezes to death like the rest of us now that she's on estrogen and is cold all the time and susceptible to temperatures and all that crap. You have no idea the benefits of testosterone in the regard of core body temperature. And also, its probably colder here than it is there, if not about the same. I'm not from Cali like the rest of these guys.

Tonight it's 0 (32F) but feels like -5 (23F) and the daytime isn't much warmer. I'm also thinking the weathernetwork is behind because its not very warm in the daytime either (5C/40F or so)
... Tsuji... do you mean -3.6? Because 32F is freezing and 0C is freezing so it stands to reason... lol.
That's why imperial never made sense... I mean in metric 0 = freezing and 100 = boiling. Simple.

Yeah, -3.6C.... Just grabbed the number off the thermometer without actually processing it.
Yes, and 1 cm cubed of water = 1 mL water = 1 gram...
Imperial doesn't make sense, but neither does language. For those of us raised on it, it's as plain as the English we speak.

The only thing my brain can't switch is measuring people's height and weight in feet and lbs. For some reason my brain can't make the switch and I want to smash my head into the wall for not being able to convert it.

I have a terrible time with weights. Temps I can ballpark pretty well. Lengths are pretty easy for me, though. It's one pleasant result of my drafting classes. biggrin

Kals is questing again!shivering at 22 degrees? Girl, you must be sick. Did you get the mumps immunization?
I keep my house at about 18-19 or else I feel sick and gross and too hot and I can't sleep. Sometimes I have to wrap up in a blankie, but... Check sig for details!

If it's too hot, just wear the bare minimum. If it's too cold, use the burrito wrap method so that no cold air is trapped in the blanket. biggrin
