Yeah. I've seen Sicko, I know exactly what you're talking about. Agreeing with you that the system's crap, too.
Students are lucky, often times health centers sponsored by universities are waaaay less expensive, both in terms of getting medications and getting care. I'm still on my parent's insurance, so I don't have to worry about it.
But I know way too many people that do, and I don't want to have to.
...dammit I've been on LJ too much. I keep using HTML instead of BBCode.

Well I'm glad this discussion took place and I think I'm going to move to France where they have free Health Cover, Free College, Free Peopled that come to your house and do your laundry if you have a baby and 5 weeks paid holiday by law even if you are only partime. Plus they have a 24 hour doctor service who will cometo your door within the hour if you need them for free.
So "To the Louve!"

I disagree I think they are very nice people @Skrat Hello Thar! I've been there on vacation and they treated us badly... they acted very snooty towards us, they made fun of my brother (his pants were saggy... it's an american style...), they thought my dad and my brother were going to steal a pair of socks... the list goes on and on...
