I don't get the jokes.
sad I'm personally enjoying the ongoing storylines. Though I DO also find the strips amusing. ^_^

We-ell... the linked comic is just the latest comic, and as such is kind of a bridge comic... the girl on the couch is the goatee'd guy's daughter; we don't know much about her yet, except that she stays during the summer with him, and reads a lot. And apparently gets the occasional migraine. The pair in the kitchen are husband and wife; he's a freelance cartoonist (werewolf; he's colorblind, which hampers his attempts at working for animation), and she's a bar tender / manager (with magical powers). I'm assuming they're talking about their daughter, but am speculating at this point. (I always link to the latest strip when I link to a comic, unless I'm linking to a very specific comic; it lets the reader choose where and when to go in the storyline.) ^_^
