I think Jaft forgot to keep it in his pants xp
Lady, I may not have as much experience with kids as you, but I do know that seeing your kids in any kind of pain is hard, I wish you the best. What's going on with her?

Hehehe...Well this helped cheer me up:
I went to change my avi's clothing and got that in my inventory!
Basically aretoo, every week I go through the same crap with my daughter because my ex's parents who take her on weekends give her everything she wants and allows themselves to be diaper whipped and manipulated by a 3 year old. The problem is she comes home and doesn't understand why her manipulation and tantrums don't work on me and my boyfriend and Thaliat.
After a few days she usually gets it, but lately she has been pushing harder to try and get us to crack and give her what ever she wants without question. Things like jumping on the couch (a no no in my house), finishing meals (if you don't finish what is in front of you to a reasonable amount you can't have anything else until you are done), tv time (no one gets to pick what is on but her--she wishes), bed time, and lately the whining. Every time she doesn't get what she wants, she cries so loud that it sounds like we are beating her with a red hot poker. You can only imagine how long it will be before our neighbors call DSS.
burning_eyes
I would love to tell them they can only see her once a month, except that I can't. If I do they will sue me and tell the judge I am an unfit mother and I am being overly cruel by not allowing them to see her and they will take her away from me. And there is the fact I need the time off from her. She can be tiring and I need adult time.
That and my boyfriend who never wanted children, is trying to help me deal with her and well....he is great, but this just isn't what he wanted out of life. When my daughter isn't around our relationship is wonderful...add my daughter and everything hits a giant spinning fan.
To top it all off I am horny as hell and he went home to get away from my daughter! sweatdrop

You killed the thread Ladi. LOL!
I suppose you can't tell the parents what to do either. Just make sure to emphasis that she can't do it at your house, only at their house. =3

*siiiiiigh* Man, that IS a plateful. I don't suppose having a sit-down with the ex-in-laws is an option... Sounds like a great deal of the troubles stem from spoilage and no boundaries with the grandparents.
Other than that, I'd just say stand your ground; you're doing the right thing and you know it. Your b/f sounds like he's nearing nomination for sainthood; any chance of babysitter so you can 'thank" him? wink
And yeah, I get that message, too. Kusa keeps telling me I should sell my "junk" stuff. Or maybe half my Labus... wink

Hooray Thaliat has agreed to watch the Hellion!
My boyfriend is coming back tonight so that we can go watch Enchanted at 10:10! That will give me some good de-stress time from my daughter and the house and because it has been out for a while and it is a late night showing there won't be horribly crowded. (in theory) So I can truly relax.
It wasn't you aretoo, I had to make dinners and I was on the phone with my ex-hubby about our divorce mediation tomorrow.

heh, I was out with a friend...although I'm hoping we become more than that soon...of course, it's hard, with how our work schedules are set up...basically, I'm waking up as she's heading to bed ^_^
Ladi: For some reason, when I saw your lack of proper grammar usage earlier, it kind of threw me off...t'was a bit scary...you're normally quite proper...must've been a doozy to make you type like that.
