Apparently me and my lack of knowledge on the subject. The basic, immediate problem is that I told something to be 500px wide and it's wider than that...
I really need to just dive into it full bore, but I have to work tomorrow and should really sleep at some point before then. So I can't afford to get too involved in the project.
