EDIT: Though that's not true either... because <3 could be -9 and -9x2=18.
So the answer is really <3x2, that's as simplified as solving for X can get.

0<3
-9<3
And so on...
<3x2 could be anything because it could be any of those numbers time 2.
It's really simple, I don't know why you're confused.

It's probably because I'm not the one doing the problem ^^; I usually only understand it if the concept is explained then I do the problem on my own.
