we went to my sister's future school, the middle school she's going to be going to for the parent introductory thing or whatever it was called and we couldn't find where it was and instead of asking herself she made me ask people left and right. If it was only this time she did this to me I wouldn't be annoyed but every time we go out somewhere she forces me to ask people questions when she could easily ask them herself. She REFUSES to ask questions herself. It pisses me off sometimes.

Why does she do that, Sanzo? Does she not feel comfortable in public?

I'm betting that she feels embarrassed about not knowing where she's going. Or is it a cultural thing?
On a semi-related note: I remember my sister and I drove to Nebraska (don't ask) about 5 years ago. We were in a really little town and needed ice, but the only place to buy it was the local bar. She, 25 at the time, was going to send me, 15, in there to buy the ice.
We waited until the next town...

I think its partly because she's embarrassed by her english, it is her second language after all. I used to be really understanding about it until she got really pissed, and I mean extremely pissed, when I hesitated about asking and asked why didn't she? After that I got pissed that she wasn't even willing to try.
