Hrmmm... I'm also thinking of a business card design. Probably similar to my poster work and website work. It'll probably be in the form of a business card CD with these things inside:
Current resume
Offline copy of current teacher portfolio showing sample works (lesson plans, microteaching/actual-teaching videos, etc)
Samples of web and print design work
Samples of my instrumental and vocal singing ability.
Opinions? O.o Edit: Night Tsuj. I'm probably going to head to bed soon as well (about 15 minutes or so).

I detest those CDs. Mostly because I can't use them.
If you pursue that design idea, I would suggest that you not rely on what's on the CD. Personally, I'm a bit of a purist in that what's visible on the card is what's truly important and having inaccessible information on the CD taints that purity. Basically, if you can make a hard copy of it, don't rely on a soft copy.
Actually, I've been working on a calling card myself. Maybe I'll post it tomorrow.

The CD is definitely not going to be the main point of the card; the design has to be. After all, that's going to attract the attention - not the information itself. However, I figured it would be a nice touch to have that convenience for the people that can use it. Otherwise, that's not the only thing I have to show my works.
