Jaft I don't... get the reference. >> Hercule Savinien Cyrano de Bergerac, a cadet (nobleman serving as a soldier) in the French Army, is a brash, strong-willed man of many talents. In addition to being a remarkable duelist, he is a gifted poet and is also shown to be a musician. However, he has an extremely large nose, which is a target for his own self-doubt. This doubt prevents him from expressing his love for his distant cousin, the beautiful Roxane, as he believes that his ugliness forbids him to "dream of being loved by even an ugly woman." (It was also adapted into a film called "Roxanne" a number of years ago, with Steve Martin in the Cyrano part; it was updated to modern times, and had a wonderful verbal banter about it.)

You're incorrigible, Jafty! ^_^
I haven't seen the Gerard Depardieu version yet, but may have to search it out now. As I said, I'm quite fond of the Steve Martin adaptation. smile

I might have seen the Steve Martin one, but then again, he's so famous that I might be delusional about that memory. Ho ho ho...

I need to go and have a sleep evaluation at the lab, so I get all wired up and sleep there, then I stay there all day and they try to make me have naps every two hours. ^_^ So I get to miss school.

Sounds interesting. Course, the only reason's I missed school were for band, and sports activities...
And I missed a lot of class
Someone was getting married, hired out jazz band to play music, we'd get out of class for the day. We also did little dinner/dances once a month, and that was day's worth of prep, and then playing, eating, dancing all night.
Then when we went recruiting at the middle schools, that was a day for each school in the district, I think there were 3...and we did those on consecutive days.
Flew to hawai'i and florida for a week each for parades, road tripped to LA for a week for the Disney Magic Music Days parade
CCS Cross country, track, wrestled in state...there were some overnight wrestling tourneys as well.
Long story short, I've missed quite a lot of school, but never it concerning my health.
