@Jaft: Sorry; you kinda fell in between replies for me. I did like it, once I saw it. wink
@Arc: How 'bout I raise you a "wardrobe malfunction" from my zipper halfway to my belt line (in back), repaired with duct tape 'cause it was too close to boarding? (aretoo works on a dinner cruise vessel as the lead photographer)

Oooh... Cao Dai looks interesting from the short summary I skimmed through. I might link that for future reading later.
@Arc: Silly Arkie. You know I'm a Music Education major. This is just for my Theology class. I'm doing research on the paradox of salvation: to desire salvation is selfish, and distracts a person from salvation.
@Aretie: *purrs*

Hiya!
By the way, for all those interested, my mom got to go home Friday, but still has to take a couple weeks off of work. smile (I only got to call her today, as I was at work at 6:30, and didn't get off 'til 5:30...) sweatdrop
EDIT: Oh, adding another fun twist to my weekend: one of our smaller boats was going out for the brunches today, too, as the larger vessel was sold out at 270 per cruise (give or take), and the computer for the photos went down this morning. So... not only was I going back and forth between docks and running tech support, we ended up doing "touch and gos" (where the boats "dock" midstream briefly) so I could print out all their photos (and do reprints as needed). Ugh, what a day.

Yeah, I work at a grocery store too Tsuji, that's pretty much what I encounter on a daily basis. I don't get why the entire family has to go...but that's pretty much how the Mexicans, Filipinos, and Polynesians roll...

Hiya Kitsu!
aretoo: hmm...don't think I can top that...But it is GREAT to hear that your mom's back home. That must've made your day, right?
Linny: theology... that paradox does sound complicated, and funny if you think about it.

Sentama Lin Awwws... What happened to Aretoo's mum? *has been Internetless for a while as mentioned in thread* Well... her appendix burst Monday, and she had an emergency appendectomy. However, she was in there in good time, and they, er, "cleaned her out" pretty well, otherwise she would still have been "in hospital" today. But she got to go home Friday! Yay! mrgreen

No, no, Arc, not a grocery store, a convenience store complete with gas pumps! So I also get the misguided complaints about gas prices. If you don't like the price of gas, then don't drive a suburban and a haul a boat behind it!
It's also apparently how Caucasians roll, 'cause we don't have all that may Mexicans, Filipinos, and Polynesians up here...
Hello, Sanzo!
@Lin — I think it's just really trippy...

Sanzoskitsune glad that your mom is okay at least aretoo, and that she's home @Arc, the entire family has to go to the store cause you can't leave the little chilluns alone at home ...and this is why I wonder sometimes. I mean, just leave pops at home with the babies, and bring along the older kids to help with the groceries...that's how my mommy did it...actually, that's how she still does it... Or she just calls me and has me write down the entire grocery list and I buy it when I'm off of work...either way, mom/grams has the last word on what gets brought in the house.

TEN-year-old Metro... :blush: (and aretoo was its first owner... and it has over 140 thou... hehehe)

xd I have it easy, my family consists of four people so even if we all go to the store we travel in one group AND me and my sis are only sent out to get things when my mom is feeling too lazy to go through the entire store
