Yeah, I've seen that. Excellently animated, beautifully choreographed. Truly, that's what I want my games to be. (Shooting at the sky leads to death by dropping bullets.)

X is acrobatic jump. O is energy bullets. [ ] is flip. ^ is deliciousness. I have no idea where I'm going with this. 8D Shoulder buttons for jiggling effects.

Actually, FFXIII (or one of it's umpteen permutations) looks like it's going that way - cinematographic random battle sequences. I am... to say the least, pleased in this.
