I just went to see about a job.

Just told mum and she's whinging about it because it's not where she suggested.

She wants me to go and work at "Charlies" up the road, and I went about a far more interesting job.

Pay is probably far better too, but all she cares about is that I've ignored her suggestion.

I've already worked in a ******** supermarket, and I worked with the dregs of society. None of them had an IQ above 50, or a personality. I nearly died from lack of mental stimulation.

I work in the deli department at the store by my house. I've got some really good friends there and I like it. My boss is cool... she gives us all the time we want off, so it's all good. But it's kind of an annoying job when the stupid customers start complaining. And besides that, I've had eight stitches since I started working there.

@Penny: I kinda agree, but currently I'm pushing around pallets with plane pieces, and will be probably edging into the x-ray department (they x-ray all the parts before they go out looking for internal defects). ^_^

That's not so bad then... but I would still find some way to hurt myself... doesn't matter what I was doing. As long as I'm around something dangerous, I can hurt myself.

Oh I got two between my finger and thumb during my first week. I was opening a package and the knife slipped and I ended up stabbing myself. the second time I got six stitches on my index finger. That was because my finger was stupidly in the vicinity of a foot long knife I was using at the time and my hand jerked and the side of the blade went into the side of my finger.

Hm... the last stitches I had were when I put an adz through a rubber boot into my ankle cap. That was two layers of stitches... fun! wink

That must've hurt too.

But when I got the first two I was freaking scared out of my mind. The second time I just started laughing. the stitches themselves and the cut doesn't really hurt but the freezing needles kill.

It's not the stitches or the initial wound that really bother me, but the itching while they heal. xp

Yeah the itching is quite bothersome. But the worse of the two was the one between my finger and thumb because it buggered up my muscles so I couldn't hold anything with that hand if I didn't want it to hurt like hell.
