Yeah. I don't mind the... er... is paraphernalia a good term for it... of Catholic stuff in the Philippines and Mexico.
The only thing that bothers me about it is that, at least in the Philippines, these vendors actually park right outside the church and sell you these things. I don't mind religious symbols and things, but it just feels so wrong because it's so commercialized (again, in the perspective of the Philippines).
Edit: @Tsuj: I don't think that comic can be any truer... sad

This is probably one of the many reasons my dad hates religion

Ya know, I've never watched "The Exorcist"...
@Sanzo — I don't hate religion, I just get frustrated with the impurity of it...

Lin likes religion...
Lin just hates the things people have done in religion's name...
Edit: G-d, the divine, the ultimate truth, whatever you wish may be perfect and omnipotent, but the groups on Earth are run by humanity. Ergo it's impossible for religion to be, in the absolute sense, pure.

Lin's day has been very slow... I had planned to go job searching in Minneapolis and Saint Paul today, but the friend I was going with (for we're both looking for jobs) left for home for Fourth of July.
There's seriously nobody hiring here in the boonie town called Chaska. I suppose I could try Target...

what really gets me, is that majority of the main single deity religions all worship the same deity, but they all hate each other...wtf is up with that?

I have a hard time believing that there are no jobs in Chaska, Lin. There are even jobs in Elk River, how can there not be jobs in Chaska?!
My brother works for Target. He likes it well enough.
