It has green beans, sweet potato, some sort of rice, and shredded coconut. I think it's got some sort of peanut/fish sauce.

actually, that sounds quite good 3nodding
though i'm not a fan of fish sauce usually. or peanut sauce for that matter. sweatdrop (haha... i'm more of a BBQ sauce fan lol uncultured swine, i am! HURRAH! )

It doesn't taste like fish, which is why I like it. The sauce for pad thai has anchovies in it, which I never would have guessed. I'm not sure what kind of sauce this is, since I'm not sure what the dish is called. o_O And it's probably been Canadianized, as well.

Hehe, why is it that grandmother's always make the best food?
My nana used to make stuff that was a mix of Japanese food and "Canadian" food, and it was all delicious. I miss her a lot. <3
I was at a family reunion over the weekend, and the food there was amazing. Broccoli salad, potato salad, lentil salad, greek salad...lots of salads.

Ours are usually strange.
It's a reunion for my biological father's side of the family; however, he and my mum haven't been together since I was 12. And my mum gets invited to these gatherings, and he doesn't. x3 She even brought my dad (step-dad) along.
As well, the Tibetan monk that lives with my aunt and uncle was there.
