*sighs* Generally I have some (real-life and controlled-scenario) experience with dealing with children who say things like that. It sort of gives me a heads-up as to how to deal/remedy the situation, but it doesn't make it hurt less when someone says a word with the intent to hurt.
I'm generally good at discerning when a word is used to cause pain...

Ahh... Thankfully they're not all NEW messages. My client is just deciding to refresh my email list without telling me exactly what it was doing.
But still... I didn't realize I kept so many messages archived in GMail...

I didn't realize I kept so many messages archived in GMail... =D I don't think I've sent or received that many e-mails, ever. Well, possibly at work, but not on any of my personal e-mail accounts.
