....not exactly Eien, I have the choice to switch religions if I want my parents have no problem with it but at the same time I don't take religion very seriously. I do what I think is right not what some priest or a book says.

I'm not Catholic...

Honestly Eien, I don't like most religions...I mean, majority of the time they're the main reasons for most of the wars in the world. I think the world would be better without.
As for "they" I say those bastards in Vatican City.

Lol, Catholicism.
Edit:
OOOOoooooooooooooooooooo Arcanas, I disagree with you there.
Wars are for resources or power.
Religion is the scapegoat or excuse.

Religion does play a huge part in past wars Jaft, may not have been the only reason but it WAS a reason.
As for most Catholics, its like most other Christians they go to church on Sunday and act one way then act another way the rest of the week, its hypocritical bullshit, I'd rather act the way I think is right every day of the week than only one day and think I'm set for the after life, I think God expects more of us than that

I wasn't talking about in this time period...I should've specified...my bad.
Course, with Mr. Bush in 'power' that 'war' in Iraq is all about excising his resources and putting the country further in debt, driving everything else up in cost.

I don't believe religion was an actual reason. I do believe that people, the masses, believed they were fighting for who's right in the religious realm.
However, with the people who actually command the soldiers, they know what's up.
Control the holy city, control all the religions, control all the people aka MOAR POWERZ!!!
When I hear religion is a cause for war, I instantly become suspicious and look for something more. Something else.
That's just my belief. >.o

So does most of the Catholic world who still even bothers to call themselves thus; it's pathetic! Not to mention, since the 60s the Church has been in a sharp decline, especially of it's youngest members, which is to say US, those coming into young adulthood. It's disgusting and downright frightening to see just how many fallen away Catholics there are, even in this area, let alone all those whom you could meet over the internet.
Many, many priests are not teaching the right thing, teaching a watered down of even outright altered version of the Church and it's teaching and it personally sickens me. I say nothing against the priests themselves, God alone knows how difficult it is to be a priest in these dark times, but the wrongfulness of the institution as a whole has become a problem. I'm not speaking of the poor priests who became *****: the number of which is so absolutely minuscule in relationship to the size of the population of priests that it is negligible except for the severity of the wrong, and that has stained the whole institution of the Catholic Church.
I will not stand by now idly, Arc, as I am a Roman Catholic. My Church is beautiful, regardless of how this sinful and ruinous world portrays it. It is the one Church founded by Christ himself, whom he said he would send his Holy Spirit down to protect and guide that it might never teach error. It has not in the PAST, it does not NOW. The men in the Vatican are no hypocrites and I'd like to see you prove your point as to HOW exactly they may be.
