@Celes: I'm more or less self-taught. o3o I just needed someone to give me the split-primary colour wheel and tell me what a wash was... And to avoid using white as if your life depended on it... But people still cheat allll the time...

I don't need no specialist with a funky mask... I gots ammonia and bleach.. I heard that if you mix them together and don't wear a mask, you go to a magical land of sleepyness and fun! (Actually the result is mustard gas, which is highly poisonous.) I do actually have to use those two chemicals though >_>

EDIT: Pancake, you obviously know mustard gas will, you know, likely kill you. IF you're going to do something dangerous like that, wear a ******** mask and take the proper precautions.

Wow Bass you really spruced it up. I refreshed the page and suddenly it was twice as big.
redface Thank you guys.
I assure you, that happens to be one of my best watercolors and only because everything worked out alright from the start.
I masked the whole ship so that I could do the sky without being careful and the water was mostly pure accident. sweatdrop Frankly the best watercolors are the ones where you let the water and paint do what ever it wants.
I'm hoping my trip coming up will give me great seascapes to paint and then share ^_^
