MY violin, dammit! One of the few good things my father has ever done for me. Despite the fact he constantly asks for it back if I don't play it. Like hell. I just need to get it tuned, get some new strings since these are old and likely to snap and give me a nice slash on my face again if I touch it, and have a sound post put in.
Learning to read music would be nice, but I have tabs too...

Reading music is uber-helpful. I can read a sheet of piano music and get the gist of it right away, even if it's not something I could play well. Set guitar music in front of me, though, and I'm lost. sweatdrop

Reading music is helpful, but only when one understands what it means before introducing the symbol. *is Pro-Sound-Before-Sight*

..my dad used to take his guitar music and play it on our piano, actually. He was pretty good at it.
Like, we had the music for 'Puff the Magic Dragon" and he couldn't be bothered to get his guitar so he just played it on the piano.

I can totally read the music, but my mind doesn't get it to me BEFORE I play, so yeah, that's deifnitely helpful. 8D I end up ememorizing whole songs because of that.... -loves my flute due to lack of coordination needed- 8D
@ Western Music: Good thing I'm Asian. -FAIL- 8D

Sentama Lin Reading music is helpful, but only when one understands what it means before introducing the symbol. *is Pro-Sound-Before-Sight* Which is why I fail at guitar sheet music. =D I learned piano by ear before I ever learned to read music.

I want to learn how to play power chords, and I want an acoustic guitar (for teaching my little ones) and an electric guitar (for myself).

The washing games and the shooting bottlecaps really suck on this computer. It slows down when it animates anything so it takes longer to finish. crying
