It has to be a very VERY special occasion for me to dress even remotely respectable...otherwise, I'm wearing jeans, a hoody and my chucks...
Although, I'm told I clean up nicely...I still have yet to believe them..

I know I look nice when I'm all dressed up but... its so much WORK to look really nice and I just don't feel like putting all that work in

I just came back from a disappointing trip to one of the Wonderlands here in Portland and... I'm officially angry.

Unless I'm updating the kernel on Linux, I never have to restart a thing. ^_^

I dunno... I usually don't think of dressing up as too much work, if only because it has sort of become second nature after going to schools and places and whatnot dressed up professionally.

when I dress up really nicely I have to iron the clothes, find stockings, find the right shoes, do my hair, do my makeup, find the appropriate jewelery that goes with the outfit... too much looking for crap and since I don't like makeup to begin with... well you see why it would annoy me

That would be annoying, particularly the accessories. Men go through that too, but not in the extreme that women though (in my opinion). Usually I try to find a good matching belt, shirt, tie, jacket, and all that. And then I pray to all the gods and goddesses in heaven and hell and on earth and hope that my clothes match in colour.
