@Tsuji: As an actor, as a director, or as a human being?

EDIT: @Sanzo: it IS pretty scary; fortunately, it kinda fits his role in the movie. Though... Denzel Washington played his brother. xd

Wait... What?! Shakespeare festival?

I can't say that I'm a big fan, but I am a fan of Shakespeare, particularly the sonnets, King Lear, Hamlet, and Macbeth.

Also... Silver, Arkie, do you have any breathing tips? I find that though I feel out of breath when playing, my breathing mechanism still feels tight and full and I can't seem to keep it as relaxed as I do when I sing, making it hard to breathe.

Bingo. He's not a terrible director, but the other two points far outweigh what little stock I have in his directing.

That sounds like a blast to go to, if only to, what I assume will be there, hear plays performed and sonnets read. What other things happen in a Shakespeare festival other than what would seem to be implied by the name?

try not to think about it...I mean, there's really not much I can say tip wise, but I have noticed that the breathing patterns when singing tend to differ from what I learned so.. I dunno.

I assumed that it would be different but it's just strange feeling tightness near the upper-diaphragm-chest area, which is usually a red light for me in my breathing...

Breathe from your diaphram is what I've always been taught.

Don't most people breathe from the diaphragm? wink
