aretoo ran a helluva lot of errands today, including buying a power cord for the iBook (very needed), a new bedding set (very needed, and on clearance)... and another R2D2, which makes noise, and has his little "eye" light up... SQUEEE! whee

Well, Jafty, the old adapter for the laptop was only charging about half the time and making odd electrical noises... needed. The quilt for the bed the dog caught with his claws, tearing large triangular holes in it... needed. The Artoo? Not needed, but... well, I have a weakness for astromech 'droids. ^_^

Guess who can't sleep and will probably kill himself later as he traverses the bus system? biggrin

I'm assuming it's you, Linny? Please don't kill yourself on the bus system. They have too many unreported murders on the public transprotation systems. xd

Nyaaa... *leans toward the scratches* Claus had a good 2.5 hour nap though...
How much cake would I need to make an R2D2 cake? Like... one that is actually realistic? I'm thinking probably a few layers of 8-inch diameter cake rounds, followed by a bowl on top to make the head?
And I won't kill myself on public transport; I've been on the route I need to take tomorrow many many times. I just feel like I'm probably going to oversleep on the bus again.

Hm... Dunno, depends on how big it is, too. You might also have to give it some stability plates, like with a wedding cake. ^_^
...Where did the Claus come from, anyway? Unless, of course, you're secretly one of the Baudelaires... ^_^

Stability plates will definitely be a necessity, though I'll probably find some creative and edible way to make it stable. Maybe some stiff meringue, or some royal icing plates that are edible enough (though I doubt it).
And Claus? Because I'm a mage capable of summoning through pacts I made with otherwordly beings! (And also because Claus is a character from Tales of Phantasia that both Silver [Chester] and I, among others, have played).
