I've had my learner's permit since November, but I wasn't really getting a lot of practice until I started my driver's class in June. (We don't have one available at our school.)

I never took driver's ed... but be thankful you are. Insurance companies like that.

I just finished driver's ed the week before I got my license ^.^
A bunch of people don't take it through the school though, 'cause... well, I did, and I can see why they want to avoid it. The teacher for the book part of the course is just... uhg!
Ah well, I got through alright, right?

Driver's ed is a requirement to get your license, up here in Washington. I just need to work on backing around corners, and I'll do fine.

K0m0d0: It's not a requirement in Indiana, but I think you have to wait longer if you don't take it... 16 and a half instead of and a month or something like, right? I think... ^.^;

I didn't get my Learner's License until I was 18, because I'm lazy like that. I got it about a year ago, even have vouchers for lessons but I have only driven for 30 minutes entirely. I'm lazy blaugh ...The girls just never came!
