I'd take the fuses out, or douse them in water for a few minutes before tossing them. The garbage should be safe as long as they're soaked first.

Getting ready to get dragged 'camping' with a friend. It's not camping if you aren't in a tent, dammit... But at the moment I'm trying to convince her to let me install Ubuntu on her computer and playing Persona 3, since I finally got it back from her.
