As long as we'll get to see your smile again Kitsu.
I'm not really too sure how I'd handle a death in the family now that I'm older...I mean, my family is all fairly young, my grandma just turned 72 on Saturday

I'll be all right, Indy is coming over tomorrow... or should I say today, to help me deal. I might ask her to take me to the store and the bank. *sigh* I was so happy today too, I had such a good day.

You could always come down with me to Vegas if you want, but I suppose it would be a bit short notice, considering I leave later on tonight.

Ooh, Vegas! Meet you there? Or not. Somehow, I don't think my mom would go for it. Especially since she gets to go to Vegas in September. stare Edit: Hullo Pandy! ^^

Sanzoskitsune You don't have to say anything Lin, all I really wanted was to be here with you guys. I just needed friends right now That's what friends... and family... are for, Sanzo. ^_^
And remember the good times with her, and try not to focus on the guilt.
I actually only ever knew 2 of 5 grandparents; my dad's dad died before I was born, his mom had dementia and died before I was 4 (we didn't see her much if ever); my mom's dad committed suicide when she was in high school; her stepdad died the year I graduated (and the year I got my Eagle); and my Gram died just a few years ago, though she wasn't really herself for the last few, after she had a stroke. sad But... I remember the good times and the happy times with the ones I did know... ^_^

One can only do their best, Pandi, and hope that that's enough.
ninja Lin would probably go nuts over a death of someone close to him. I imagine a huge box of cigarettes, not eating, or vomiting... so... Sanzo... you're doing better than I would ever do... And it's not even the death itself that would bother me... It would be something more selfish.
Edit: As Aretoo said. I don't think she wants you to think about how she died, but how she lived. That is more important, and how to keep your genuine love for her alive.

My dad would freak if he called and I was gone but thanks anyway Arc ^_^ I'll be fine, more than likely by the end of the week if not sooner I'll be back to my old silly self. Besides, knowing me, it'll be a year later I'll hear some sappy song and I'll burst into tears and all will be well... that's what happened when my Great-Grandma died. No guilt when she died though, just a lot of sadness
EDIT: the only reason I'm doing so good Lin is because I'm trying to keep myself occupied... that and I've never been especially good at crying. My dad's never liked to hear crying so I've always tried to keep it in

for being as inexperienced in things regarding the real world sometimes, I try to make up for it by trying to be as understanding as possible.
One of the things I know my friends respect about me is how I can remain calm, even when a situation is difficult to deal with. Might seem a little like indifference sometimes, but I'd rather it be like that, than getting far too emotional and making rash decisions.
and I hear I'm easy to talk to. Is that true?

To be honest, Kitsu...I hate hearing girls cry too...it's one of the more difficult things to stop. But, I've found out that, rather than try to stop it, just let it run it's course.

Arkie, for someone who says he's inexperienced you're good at convincing people that you're seasoned. And you are pretty easy to talk to. ^_^

yes Arc, you most definitely are easy to talk to *hugs* and as for me crying. I cry in short bursts. I usually cry for like 30 seconds then spend the next 30 seconds taking deep breaths and calming down... I hate to cry

It is true though, when it comes to things like this, I try to relate to my own life. And honestly, when I was in high school, all I did was go to school, do sports, and band.
My life didn't really start until a couple of years ago when I got tossed into the real world.

Good even... er, morning... Hope you're doing OK-ish, all things considered. smile
@Arc: I'm right there with you; I get to be the level-headed one in most situations. smile (Heh... I had a friend once say that of all his friends, I was the least messed-up with the most reason to be...) mrgreen And remaining calm in difficult situations is a true blessing, and is in NO WAY indifference. If you DO feel indifference, it's only for that reason. mrgreen
...I'm a bit embarrassed to mention that there are certain people who know how to "push my buttons" *cough* my dad and my brother *cough*, and I tend to take it, to a point, and then reach my breaking point and have a "Okay, fine, then. HAVE it your way" moment, and over-react in the opposite direction. I fight it, but it crops up once in a great long while. redface
