@Bass: Oh, everything's fine. Still need to get off my fat arse and do something around the house. Since I'm staying home the rest of the summer, my parents expect me to do something.
@Lobo: Well, every school is different. I go to what's called a magnet school, which specializes in teaching something. Most magnet schools are public schools with more efficient classes in teaching what the magnet program offers.
My zoned high school magnets in the medical and aviator field. The school I currently go to is public, but you have to audition to get in whatever it is you wish to major in. My school requires that we read picked out material that we'll be going over during the school year.
Some teachers expect you to read it because they'll jump right in at the beginning of the school year. However, they'll know when you didn't read because quizzes and activities are based around the book or books.
Now see, I have to read Jane Eyre and Lord of the Flies since I'll be taking British Literature this coming year. So. I need to read as much as I can in two weeks. xd
