you'll have to forgive me, big sister....but I'm talking in video game terms...
my usage of grinding would be to level up your characters a lot to pwn the badguys.

ok Linny, check this scenario out...you're in a new game plus using Kain...you focus 3 times, use darkness and you have the Limit Break augment equipped.
You jump...when the attack lands, Kain will have dealt far over 9999 damage
