AlcoholicPancake Hey Iec! All your computer troubles sorted out now? Got the underclocking all figured out and that kind of fun stuff? Oh well I sort of let my friend install a game on my computer. So now I'm overclocking... sweatdrop hahhaha! I am having the biggest amount of trouble ever though with his laptop. D; It crashed and we reinstalled Vista but without any of the drivers for anything and now we can't get online wired or wireless. D; And I can't find the name of any of his hardware so I can't get the drivers off from another computer...It's such a pain..we've been working on this for several days now to no freakin' avail! mad -cries a little- aretoo: But I'm not lurking anymore. You still molesting ?

If you can get online with another computer, go to the Laptop Manufacturer's webpage (Dell's homepage, HP/Compaq's homepage) and find the model he has. It should bring you up a list of all the drivers you should need for that model.
Personally, this is why I have a folder for EVERY computer I work with on my external hard drive filled with that computer's drivers, and software that is to be installed on it initially. (Anti-Virus, Spy Bot, stuff like that) That way, I can just plug that in after a fresh format, and put all those things right back onto the computer and get it running in no time flat.
Hell, if you can give me the product number of it, or the type and model of it, I'll be more than happy to try and find the page to pull up to get all the drivers from.

AlcoholicPancake: Hmm..we went there and all there was there was the Manual but hmm..that could be the key. Also I don't think we searched very well on there lol. He was too busy youtubing and gaia and tf2'ing lol. I know I have the same set up. Secondary HDD with my stuff, external HDD, Flash drive, and some stuff on CDs in case multiple things fail or whatnot lol Just no one else ever does. I always say back it up no one listens to me. sad It's an Asus series G2 and the one this is is a well G2 lol...-looks under the computer- Hmm...he told me it was a G2 but on I just checked and it says G2S has he been having me look up the wrong computer this whole time ? lol...If so and the stuff is right there I'll kick his arse. If you could check I'd love that. I'm always paranoid I missed something lol.
