As long as you don't want newborns or babies when you adopt it is actually a lot easier. -------------------------------------------- Art By: La Belle Isolde Clicky to keep alive!

*nod nod* Yeppers. 'Cause so many people want little babies when they adopt... Probably 'cause they're so cute and haven't had time to learn things you don't want them to know, like cussing or worse... But then they cry and you have to change diapers >.>;
My friend Esther is adopted 3nodding

Technically I was adopted, but it was my grandmother so it's not really the same. There's nothing hard about changing a Diaper Lobo, you just want to skip to the hard parts is all. And trust me when they start walking and talking that is when the hard parts start. They're so easy to deal with the they're helpless and immobile. -------------------------------------------- Art By: La Belle Isolde Clicky to keep alive!

Eh, I know a diaper isn't really that bad, but... Ech, babies sweatdrop I've had to babysit my cousin Orion since he was a baby... He's 3 now and there's a reason why he's the 'Unholy Terror Child' >.<
And... my stepsister's grandparents have legal custody of her, so I guess they 'adopted' her or some such?

Here in Canada the waiting list for Newborns and Infants is like 8 years, but if you chose older kids or kids of a different race or kids with special needs you can be placed almost as soon as your black ground check is through the system. -------------------------------------------- Art By: La Belle Isolde Clicky to keep alive!

I'm not 100% sure how it works in the US, but I know you wait a lot longer if you try for a baby/newborn...
Hmmm, anywho... How are your kids doing, God? ^.^

My grandma was adopted by her grandparents. Strange part is that she never knew it...or at any rate was never told.
My sister's due any day now. Soon I'll have a little niece, Lexi (short for Alexis)! I'm happy, but my sister lives rather far away now so who knows how often I'll get to play auntie....
As for names I thought of for any possible future children of my own...I like Juniper or Elinor for a girl. I leave the boy name options more open in case the father would like to have a junior.
