I added one on the door... 'cause it wouldn't work out right for me to draw it over everything. Blech. If only it was paint instead of colored pencils, right? >.<
Wait, but then it'd look even worse 'cause I'm not too good with paint ^.^;

I prefer paint to coloured pencils. So much more forgiving. x_X
I love the banner. The artist wasn't thrilled with it and tried to return some of what I paid. o_O I didn't give her much to work with, though, and there's a lot of text; that's why I offered more, for her inconvenience.

Hmmm, yeah... Paint is more forgiving since you can generally wait for it to dry and add another coat, but colored pencils are impossible to fully erase... But then again, either way I'm horrible at getting my colors to come out right >.<
I've found that watercolor paints are quite fun, though take a bit getting used to due to the whole running bit... And you can't paint over them... But they can get some cool effects and are so pretty heart

Mixing types of paints gives some interesting effects. biggrin I am not usually painting on canvas or blank paper. I usually paint over collage or glossy paper, fabric, photos, etc.

Ooooo, that sounds like fun ^.^
I've only used paper and then if we're painting on pottery or some such... Watercolor paper is funky though, 'cause it has all those little thingies in it >.<

Oh, and I think it was... Tempera paint... Mixed water in it for hair and it gave a nice effect ^.^
