Yeah. I mean, when you're just dating someone you can pretty much just up and leave them, but if you're courting/married, then there's some serious commitment.

Not necessarily. I suppose it could apply to a dating relationship, but there's not much commitment there. Unless one fears the idea of not gettin' any from other people...
