I wish I could be in a better mood. I'm down right cranky and I'm still sick. That doesn't help things. scream

I'm feeling a little better than I did yesterday and I finally get around to calling people and asking around for assignments and such. Well, I didn't exactly plan on being absent on Friday; therefore, I wasn't able to get a hold of my German textbook. No one seems to want to let me know what the assignments were.
*Sighs.* I've got a bunch of stuff I gotta do and I'm oh-so tempted to just say, "Screw it all" and watch my grades fall.

Does your school have an online website? If so, check to see if it tells you upcoming assignments.

Yeah, well, I have no excuse to turn in my German assignment in late. I tried looking for the textbook online; there's no such thing and that's further depressing.
@Rachel: I did check. They got rid of the online deal we had last year because it cost too much. The county made a county-wide website for parents and such to check up on grades and assignments. Let's just say this new bullshit isn't the greatest thing in the world.

Yeah, well, when you live in a city that only cares about how much gambling and drinking gets done, education is put to wayside. We've had so many budget cuts due to the shitty economy, all of us kids are suffering and not getting what we deserve.
Everyone's like, "Oh, it's your generation that we can depend." Well, how are we supposed to be something to depend on when the older folks who run things screw it all up?! stressed
God. I'm so cranky right now.

My school uses EDline, it works really well. I think all the schools in my parish have it, and Louisiana isn't exactly known for its education......We're second in murder. 3nodding xd

@Rachel: We had Edline. It was the greatest thing and when it first came out to us, we're like, "Oh man, are you kidding? Now our parents are going to bug us more and more about things." Well. In short, we miss it.
